Many of the latest phones only have a USB C port on them this means you can't use your old audio equipment because there are no ports for them.
The USB Type C to 3.5mm audio adapter will allow you to connect 3.5mm stereo equipment to your USB type C device this is especially useful for phones/tablets etc that have one USB Type C port only.
With phone manufacturers trying to save space to make phones smaller they are reducing the number of ports on a phone to just one USB C port.
This means that adapters have to be purchased in order to use accessories etc.
This adapter is for newer phones etc that have only a USB C port.
PLEASE NOTE: This audio adapter will not work with phones/tablets etc that have a 3.5mm port as the phones cannot detect USB C adapter and defaults to speaker.
